Beach Photoshoot w/ White Jeans

Coming back to Ohio after a beautiful week in Florida was definitely not easy.

We were so luck to have every day be sunny and between 70-80 degrees. Could not have asked for more beautiful weather the first week of January!

But for now please enjoy a couple shots of my look for our family pictures circa 2020.

Outfit details linked at the bottom!

This look was for our annual family pictures…which is quite the ordeal when your mom is a retired professional photographer!

The strict instructions for the girls outfits were “white pants, neutral shoes, and navy or coral but not too much coral shirts”. And all 5 ladies had to follow while coordinating but not matching! Good thing I love a good fashion challenge!

Sperry’s are my go to shoe in the spring when weather can vary throughout the day so I immediately decided to wear Sperry’s since the weather could have been more variable given the time of year and we took the family pics early in the morning (in the “golden hour” of course!).

And I love my classic tan Sperry’s but it felt a little too much like they were blending in with the sand so the light gray option ended up working the best.

For my white bottoms I immediately went for the jeggings, gotta be comfortable for over an hour of picture taking.

Definitely my favorite picture of the day! Not just for the outfit but those clouds and the gentle waves, I can’t wait to go back.

Fun side note- right as we got to the beach there were multiple dolphins swimming close to the shore and playing with each other. We had just decided not to go on a dolphin watching tour and were so excited to just walk up to the empty beach and see them playing in the water. It was also my grandmothers first time seeing the ocean, can’t imagine a more perfect way to see it for the first time!
