Columbus Desserts Festival

In February every year (well for the last 6) there has been a wonderful Sunday afternoon in Columbus, Ohio- the annual desserts festival.

Yes, it is as amazing and *sweet* as it sounds!

This year the Dessert festival was on February 2nd at the Exchange in Bridge Park.

There were not only dozens of delicious treats but also plenty of cute dessert themed photo ops! This cute display was by Grace K Designs!

*Locals– she also did the gorgeous floral installation on the Easton telephone booth. So talented.

My boyfriend seriously asked me if it was edible. It was such a cute photo op!

I wasn’t kidding about the photo ops. All the pink and sweets were perfect. Reminded me of the Candy Land game but in the best way.

How it works: each ticket got you a “passport” that you bring to the different booths.

Each booth signs off or stamps your passport and gives you a yummy treat in exchange.

As you can see there was lots of booths which, guys, was a LOT of treats. By about half way through I had to start only taking a bite or too because I was so darn full! But I can’t imagine a better way to spend your afternoon.

On that note- make sure to come on an empty stomach!

ChillJoy had their Hawaiian shaved ice on top of ice cream and it was HANDS DOWN my favorite dessert of the day. Boozy Bakes margarita cupcake and J’s Sweet chocolate cupcakes were close (like super close) 2nds. If you are local I NEED you to go check all 3 of them out!

Hope everyone has a super sweet day!
